About the Author
ABDUL MALIK OMAR (BSc, MSc) is the founder of Herodotus & Co Consulting. He is known in Brunei as the founder of Amotimes.wordpress.com and the curator of TEDxGadong. He studied for his International Enterprise degree at the University of Essex and his Master’s in Economic Development at the London School of Economics, both under the MOE Scholarship scheme. He also serves as Treasurer at MPK Junjongan in his village. His writings have appeared in Borneo Bulletin, Invest Vine, LSE Beaver, and The Diplomat Magazine.
